My favorite book when I was a kid was the Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. I loved the shiny scales on the cover and the pretty colors. I think the book was about a beautiful fish that was at first self centered and would'nt share its scales. It later relizes that it's not happy being so stingy so it gives a scale to other fish until it has just one left.
